The club celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2009, and as part of the celebrations re‑enacted the first two camps the club held. The second of those camps was in the Grampians, and in May 2009 over 100 members travelled to Halls Gap for the occasion – about the same number as the original camp! Many of the walks are unchanged from all those years ago, while others no longer exist due to the ravages of fire. As usual for a major camp, walks of all four grades were held each day. The feature walk of the week was Mt Difficult, which was tackled by the A grade walkers and which is recognised as one of the top forty walks in Australia.
